Ingredients for a cake with about 12 pieces
150 grams sour cream
60 grams of xylitol
50 grams almond flour
1 tsp tartar baking powder
50 grams brown butter
1 small pinch of rock salt
1 pinch of vanilla powder
100 grams chopped nuts of your choice
1 apple to taste ( I had Braeburn)
In this recipe I used regular blanched ground almonds for processing:
Peel, core and dice the apple and set aside.
Blend the remaining ingredients in a mixer until smooth. Gently add the apple
Pour the mixture into a 20 cm x 10 cm square baking pan covered with baking paper.
Preheat the oven to 170° Celsius.
Bake the cake at top and bottom heat on the middle shelf for 30 minutes.
Remove from the oven, cut and serve with a bit of whipped cream and enjoy.
